Why a Micro-Wedding?
One of my favorite things about being a Micro-Wedding Photographer is that it's the best of both worlds in the wedding space. What do I mean by that? This is that sweet in between of having a large traditional wedding, or going off to elope. There's something so intimate about having just your closest people with you to celebrate the most special day of your life. No rushed timelines, no venue end time. Just you and the people who got you here to celebrate. M + C actually got an Airbnb located right on the beach big enough to host their loved ones. The ceremony, bridals, and family portraits were all taken on the beach. And the informal reception happened right by the pool on the deck of the Airbnb. They had an intimate dinner, followed by Ben & Jerry's ice cream. I am biased, but this is the best way to celebrate a day. Just you, your people, and a beautiful location. This specific wedding was actually the reason I decided I was going to specialize in Micro-Weddings. They were all so in tune, and the vibes were magic. Nothing was forced.
I believe that Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding areas have the most beautiful beach locations, but I'm biased. You've got Jacksonville Beach, St. Augustine Beach, Big Talbot Island (Boneyard Beach), Huguenot Beach, Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, and so many more! As a Florida girl, you just can't beat the sunrises and sunsets that take place on the coast.
